Policies & Expectations

At Ladybugg Lounge, every appointment is thoughtfully designed to provide personalized therapeutic care in a calm, welcoming environment. These Policies & Expectations help create a respectful, consistent experience for every client while ensuring the time and care reserved for you can be delivered with intention.

Scheduling

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time to settle in before your session begins.

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to honor the appointments that follow. The full appointment fee will still apply.

Arrivals more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time may require rescheduling and may be treated as a missed appointment.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an individual appointment.

Pause events are subject to the separate event cancellation terms outlined below.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments and no-shows, may be charged up to the full session fee.

I understand that unexpected situations and emergencies happen, and reasonable discretion may be exercised when circumstances are beyond your control.

Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require prepayment for future appointments or may result in limitations on future scheduling.

Card on File

A valid payment method is required to reserve appointments.

Payment information is securely stored through the booking and payment platform and may be charged in accordance with Ladybugg Lounge's payment and cancellation policies.

Memberships

Circle and Circle Plus Memberships are six-month agreements designed to encourage a consistent rhythm of therapeutic care.

Memberships include one or two monthly Restore sessions, depending on the selected plan, along with preferred member pricing on additional Restore sessions during the active membership term.

Unused membership sessions roll over while the membership remains active and in good standing. Any unused sessions are forfeited when the membership ends.

Memberships automatically renew monthly throughout the six-month commitment. At the conclusion of the initial term, memberships continue on a month-to-month basis unless canceled in accordance with the membership agreement.

Packages

Reset and Rebalance packages are valid for 12 months from the purchase date.

Packages are transferable with authorization and have no cash value.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are available in any denomination and make a thoughtful gift for any occasion.

Gift cards are non-refundable, may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law, and are subject to the terms provided at the time of purchase.

HSA & FSA

Massage therapy may be eligible for HSA or FSA reimbursement when considered medically necessary, depending on your individual plan. Some plans may require a Letter of Medical Necessity from a healthcare provider.

Please check with your plan administrator before booking to confirm eligibility and documentation requirements. I’m happy to provide a receipt for your session.

Minors

Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete all required forms and provide written consent prior to treatment.

A parent or legal guardian must remain on-site and immediately available for the duration of the appointment.

Pause Events

Pause events reserve a dedicated block of time exclusively for your gathering. Event details, including location, estimated participation, and massage format, should be provided at the time of booking and finalized prior to the event.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
Because extended time is reserved specifically for your event, Pause bookings require at least 72 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 72 hours’ notice may be charged up to the full event fee.

Location & Setup
The host is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and accessible area with adequate space for the selected chair or table massage setup. Any parking fees, venue fees, or special access requirements should be communicated in advance.

Event Timing
Your reserved time includes the agreed-upon service window. Delays in venue access, participant availability, or other circumstances outside of Ladybugg Lounge’s control may reduce the amount of massage time available and do not extend the scheduled event time.

Participants
Each participant’s comfort and safety comes first. Services may be modified or declined when massage is not appropriate based on health considerations, contraindications, or the therapist’s professional judgment.

Professional Environment

Ladybugg Lounge is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment for every client.

Any inappropriate behavior, sexual remarks, or abusive conduct will result in the immediate termination of the session without refund and may result in refusal of future services.

Consent

All clients are required to complete the appropriate intake and informed consent forms prior to their first appointment and update their health information whenever changes occur.
